If you’re unsure which sections qualify as Global Settings on the View Result page, begin with the View Results Overview. For a quick reference, see the photo below, which highlights each section of the Advanced View Results page.

The Advanced View offers a large, detailed table packed with data, buttons, and images. While its complexity can feel overwhelming at first, it provides powerful tools for in-depth analysis. If you prefer a simpler interface with essential features, take a look at our View Results Tools: Basic article to explore the streamlined Basic View option.

Displaying Hidden Information

The horizontal bar at the top of the page contains three unrelated but interesting tools. Each tool hides or reveals information in the View Result table. The tools in horizontal bar are:

  1. Competitive Range from the Buy Box
  2. Show barcodes
  3. Show 3D Box Shapes

Each tool is described below:

1. Competitive Range from the Buy Box

Is there a lot of competition for a product? This tool provides the answer.

It shows the number of sellers offering a price close to the Amazon Buy Box price. As a global tool, any changes you make here will update the figures in the table for all products.

  • By “sellers,” we refer to both FBA and MF sellers.
  • By “close,” we mean a price within a specific percentage range of the Buy Box price.

To adjust the competitive range:

  1. Click the field next to Competitive Range from the Buy Box.
  2. Select a percentage from the menu; the smaller the percentage, the closer the sellers’ prices will be to the Buy Box price.

To locate the number of sellers after selecting a figure in the Competitive Range from the Buy Box tool, you can check two places:

  1. Competitive FBA Sellers Column: This is the easiest method. Look for the Competitive FBA Sellers column, which shows the number of FBA sellers within the selected percentage range of the Buy Box. This data is updated frequently and is usually accurate.
  2. New Sellers Panel: For more detailed, live information, you need to open a new panel. Here’s how:
    1. Select a product from the table you want to investigate.
    2. Find the New Sellers column.
    3. Click the green FBA / MF button. This will open a new panel.

The new panel will display three key pieces of information for that product:

  • The total number of FBA and MF sellers
  • The selected percentage range (e.g., 2%)
  • The number of sellers priced within that percentage range of the Amazon Buy Box price Example

For Example

In the image below, there are 23 total sellers for this product (17 FBA + 6 MF). It also shows that 4 sellers (1 FBA and 3 MF) have prices within 2% of the Amazon Buy Box price.

Now, if we look at a panel for the same product with a 20% competition figure:

  • The total number of sellers remains the same at 23.
  • However, there’s increased competition, with 8 sellers priced within 20% of the Amazon Buy Box price.

2. Show Barcodes

This switch controls the display of barcode images in two columns: Amazon UPC/EAN and UPC/EAN.

Toggle ON the switch (blue) to display barcode images for the products in the table. Toggle OFF the switch (orange) to hide the barcodes.

3. Show 3D Box Shapes

Toggle ON this switch to show 3D box shapes in the Product Size column for a visual representation on the product shape.

Managing Column

The Manage Column button lets you customise the way columns display on the table. You can:

  1. Hide columns
  2. Change the order of columns on the table
  3. Save preferences as a new style
  4. Set a new default which can be used on other View Results pages

For detailed instructions on managing columns, check out this article.

Updating Global Data

The Update Data button ensures you have the most accurate pricing and stock information by refreshing data for all products in the table. It provides four update options:

  • Update Source Prices
  • Update Adjusted Prices
  • Update Amazon Data
  • Update All Data

For a detailed guide on updating your data in the View Results page, check out the Update Data in View Results article.

Using the Search Tool

The search tool is next to the Update Data button. Use this tool when you want to narrow the search results based on a keyword in the title. You can also use it to search a UPC, EAN, or ASIN.

  1. Enter a keyword (or product code) in the search field.
  2. Click the magnifying glass or hit Enter on the keyboard. Products with that keyword (or product code) display in the table.
  3. To remove the search filter and display all results, delete the keyword from the search field and then click the magnifying glass (or hit Enter on the keyboard).

Using the Download All, Delete All, Move All button

To stay organized and maximize efficiency, Tactical Arbitrage offers options to Download, Delete, and Move data to your Saved folder. These features are especially useful when working with large View Results tables, helping you manage data more effectively.

To locate and use these buttons, simply go to the top of the page and choose from the three available options.

We also have a separate article to guide you on how to use these buttons. For more details, check out the article Download, Delete, and Save Data in the View Results Page.

Using the Page Display Tool

The page display tool helps you navigate the table. This is a handy tool when there are hundreds or even thousands of search results.

Scroll up to the top of the View Results page. The toolbar shows several pieces of information.

1. Current Page

The page currently on display in the table is highlighted in the toolbar. The current page is blue. Click a different number to change the table page.

2.  Change Page

There are two ways to change the table page. You can click a number in the toolbar. Or you can click the field next to Go and type a page number. Click Go and the table data changes.

3. Show Results

You can change the number of items on display in the table. Click the field next to Show and select a number on the menu. The maximum number is 100.

4.  Number of Entries

On the right side of the toolbar, you can see the number of entries currently on display in the table. You also see the total number of entries for this search.

In the image below, the toolbar shows the total number of entries for this search is 280.

Looking at Exchange Rates

Scroll to the top of the View Results page and you'll see the words Exchange Rates.

Click the nearby question mark and a panel displays. It shows current exchange rates used when calculating prices and margins for cross-country transactions (e.g. buy in the UK and sell in the US).

The panel on the View Results page is for information purposes. This data cannot be changed. In addition, it us only useful when you are doing cross-country transactions.
